Gawain's Tango Music Suggestions

There is much Tango music available (see the link below to order). You can also go to Itunes and find much Tango music there. Many of the classic Tango musicians are of Italian origin. Composers like: 'di Sarli', 'd'Arienzo', 'Canaro', 'de Angelis', 'D'Agostino', 'Carabelli', 'Troillo', 'Donato' are very good Tango composers (to just name a few) and if you search those names at Itunes you will find good music. Then there is 'Astur Piazolla' who developed Tango music to almost symphonic depth and his music is really fantastic although not necessarily often danced to. Then there is Tango Nuevo or newer Tango Music by bands like 'Gotan Project' or 'Narcotango' that has a more contemporary feel to it. In general tango music grows on you and as a dancer it is important to listen to Tango music a lot and over time you will find a greater and greater depth in many of these songs.
